Rolling bearings are parts that support the shaft of a gear pump, and gear pumps use rolling bearings to reduce the rotation resistance of the pump shaft. The quality of the rolling bearing will directly affect the rotation accuracy of the pump. Therefore, when the gear pump is maintained and maintained, the rolling bearing should be carefully inspected.、
When inspecting rolling bearings, the following aspects should be started:
1. Inspection of rolling bearing components. After the rolling bearing is cleaned, all components should be carefully inspected. For example, whether there are cracks in the inner and outer rings of the bearing, whether there are defects on the inner and outer ring raceways, whether there are spots on the rolling elements, whether there are defects and collision deformations on the cage, and whether there is overheating on the inner and outer raceways. Where there is discoloration and annealing, whether the inner and outer rings rotate smoothly and freely, etc. If any defects are found, they should be replaced with new rolling bearings.
2. Check the axial clearance. The axial clearance of the rolling bearing is formed during the manufacturing process. This is the original clearance of the rolling bearing. However, after a period of use, this clearance will increase, which will damage the rotation accuracy of the bearing. The gap should be checked.
3. Radial inspection. The inspection method of the radial clearance of the rolling bearing is similar to that of the axial clearance. At the same time, the radial size of the rolling bearing can basically be judged from the size of its axial clearance. Generally speaking, a rolling bearing with a large axial clearance has a large radial clearance.
4. Inspection and measurement of bearing holes. The bearing hole of the pump body forms a transitional fit with the outer ring of the rolling bearing. The fit tolerance between them is 0~0.02mm. After long-term operation, check whether the bearing hole is worn out and whether the size has increased. To this end, the inner diameter of the bearing hole can be measured with a vernier caliper or inner diameter micrometer, and then compared with the original size to determine the amount of wear. In addition, check whether there are defects such as cracks on the inner surface of the bearing hole. If there are defects, the bearing hole of the pump body needs to be repaired before it can be used.
